Sunday 4 March at 8:30 am, the Barcelona Marathon 2007 will start. The route of this race has long been desired by lovers of athletic events.

It is a completely urban and flat route through the most emblematic places of the capital city of Catalonia:

Plaza Espanya, Camp Nou, Diagonal, Paseo de Grácia, Sagrada Familia, Torre Agbar, Fórum, Plaza Sant Jaume, Las Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya, to name but a few.

The Barcelona Marathon 2007 organised by R.P.M. Racing S.L. and A.S.O. (Amaury Sport Organisation) wants, with your help, to give our marathon the rank it deserves  amongst the most important of the European continent and the world. This is why your registration at the NEW BARCELONA MARATHON is so important.

In addition we will give you and your family or friends who accompany you to the Barcelona Marathon the opportunity to enjoy the many events organised in conjunction with the race: the Pasta Party, the Runner's Fair and animations throughout the route are just some of the reasons for you not to miss it. Although you might not feel up to running the 42.195 kilometres you might compete in the 10-kilometre race taking place along with the Marathon.
