TRIAL INDOOR
The Barcelona Indoor Trial, the first important event organised by RPM Racing, came into being amongst great festivity at the end of the 70's to promote the recently published magazine "Solo Moto" and to participate in this first edition, all that was required was to show a copy of the magazine.
What started as a punctual and merely promotional event rapidly became professional with the specialisation of the riders and evolved to become what it is today: an independent specialty within motor racing which does not just organise competition in Spain but championships on a world level.
By the eighties, the Barcelona Indoor Trial was already considered as the best indoor show in the world for its ambience, organisation and show.
In addition the competition changed its location in the nineties: from the dreamy location of the Palacio de Deportes (Sports Centre) to the incomparable location of Palau Sant Jordi. From its first year, the Barcelona Indoor Trial became something more than a classical motor race in an enclosed space.
It is the oldest world championship race in its category with the biggest capacity and the one with the largest number of competition areas making it altogether the most difficult and spectacular race of its kind.
The 30th
anniversary of the Trail indoor will take place on the next edition, on
February the 4th 2007. Therefore, this will be an unforgettable
