RPM Racing has been,, for more than fourteen years, the logistic and operational Company of one of the most important national cycling events: the Cycling "Volta" (tour) of Catalonia, a race catalogued by UCI as the "crrème de la crème" conferring therefore the highest international ranking.

RPM Racing puts its infrastructure and its human resources of more than 220 persons, 32 trucks, 80 cars, 30 motorcycles and 4 helicopters , at the disposal of the event and works in collaboration with the Cycling department of the Sporting Union of Sants.

Throughout its 80 years of existence, Volta is, together with the Giro de Italia and the Tour de France, one of the oldest races on the International calendar.

The race runs over eight days in Catalonia and Andorra, and the best cycling teams from the international circuit take part in it.

One only has to browse the winners' list to understand the prestige of La "Volta" race: from the recent victory of Jiménez, Escartín, Jalabert, Zulle, Chiapucci, Lejarreta, Indurain to the past participation of great riders such as Mariano Cañardo, Eddy Merckx, Luis Ocaña, Francesco Moser, Vicente Belda o Álvaro Pino, to name but a few.

The "Volta" is part of the UCI Pro Tour, a category that includes 27 of the most important races in the World and in which take part the 20 best runners of the five continents.
